Steven Green
Managing Director
Steven has over 27 years Fire and Security experience, initially in South Africa where he worked at ADT for over 16 years.
In 2019 Steven and his family immigrated to the UK, in the early days of his career here, he was the BSIA Regional Award (West Midlands) winner for Best Security Manager and Best Security Team in 2020in the West Midlands, whilst working at Meggitt Aerospace. Originally appointed as our National Servicing Manger, he took over as Managing Director in early 2023.
Nigel Roddie
Sales Director
Nigel joined the Fire Industry in 1989 as a Design Engineer for Fire Alarm, Public Address and Voice Alarm systems, he became involved in the Kitchen Fire Suppression market in 2000 and gained extensive experience in design, installation, and servicing of Kitchen Fire Suppression systems.
During this time has been responsible for the design and implementation of new market leading products for Residential Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems, Nigel took the decision at the beginning of 2023 to move over from Managing Director to Sales Director overseeing both our Sales and Development side of the business.
Sharon Gregory
Office Manager
Sharon has over 30 years of management experience with 17 of those years at MKFS. she is a key leader and foundational member of the company.
She has worked in every division, demonstrating her deep understanding of the business and its operations. She brings expertise in organizational leadership and division management. In addition to her extensive management role, Sharon is also a certified Mental Health First Aider, reflecting her commitment to fostering a supportive and positive workplace culture.
Claire Angus
National Servicing Manager
Claire has over 22 years’ experience in Operational Management, having in her last two roles led large teams of engineers at both ESS, and Altitude Safety Limited across three locations situated around the country.
During this period, she worked collaboratively across her respective teams to enhance the various processes within the business as well as implemented a full process review across all the respective services, and the delivery of an improvement plan, which in turn resulted in an exponential increase in turnover, increased margins, and an improved profitability for the business.
Greg Cooke
Kitchensafe Projects Engineer
Greg is a Project Engineer with over 9 years of experience in Fire Alarm Systems, however specialising in Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems.
Employed as a trainee, he advanced quickly through the ranks due to his hard work and dedication. With a background of 10 years of experience as an electrician in the exhibition industry, he brings a meticulous attention to detail and a focus on safety to every project. He has secured multiple FIA certifications, SMSTS, SSSTS and recently completed his Management Diploma.
Jan Gascoyne
Finance Controller
Jan joined Flamefast Fire Systems in 2018, as Financial Controller, just as the Marlowe group acquired the company and is proud to have been part of Flamefast’s development and growth in its transition to Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression. She qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in the year 2000, having studied with BPP in London.
Although initially training in accountancy practice, where she primarily focussed on analysis and reporting of historic data, Jan has a preference for working in industry and enjoys the challenge of her current business partnering role and being one of the MKFS management team.
Micheal Martin
National Installations Manager
Mike began his journey in the Fire and Security industry as an Ansul install engineer in 2003 and worked his way up through the ranks to Lead Ansul Engineer in 2016.
In September 2023 following a successful stint as Warehouse Manager he was promoted to Installation Manager, he has used his extensive experience in the industry to form good working relationships with both our customers as well as the other industry stakeholders.
Kieron Middleton Proctor
Warehouse Manager
Kieron originally joined the team in 2019 as a trainee installation engineer, he systematically worked his way through the installation ranks until 2023 where he was promoted to the Warehouse Managers role.
Since taking over the role he has both reduced our overhead costs as well as driven efficiency in both the warehouse and procurement side of the business.
